Don’t Have a Design? We can help! Our Art Department specializes in digitizing artwork and custom designs in order to create a fantastic finish on all your products. Depending on the size of your logo, we charge by the stitch count. What is a stitch count? Imagine a circle filled with black that would have a particular stitch count, if it were just a circle outline it would be another. We charge $10 per 1000 stitches. Average logo is between 3-4 inches which comes to about 6000 stitches. That would be $60.00. This process is a onetime cost for particular design. Never pay this again. We must do this to all artwork even vector art, or color separated art because it must be digitize through Wilcom Embroidery Program and it takes extensive time and technique. We guarantee you will be thrilled with your finish products!
Embroidery is the classiest way to advertise your business. If the logo is done right and created with incredible eye-appeal it WILL make people notice and will reflect on the type of business you are.
Embroidery also lasts a LONG time. Your garment will begin to fray long before your embroidery will show any signs of wear or tear.Embroidery on the back of a Jacket is probably the most vivid way to advertise your company. It can be noticed from a long way off AND people can read it and take down your information without feeling like they are intruding with asking a bunch of questions.
Embroidery can be done on almost anything, including nylon, fleece, hats and most delicate items. About the only thing we will not embroider is leather, simply because most leather jackets are thick and unable to be hooped properly. Embroidery above any other form of advertising is by far the best for great exposure. Anyone that has embroidered clothing for their business knows you feel more professional and people take you more seriously.
Embroidery for your Employees is also a great way to invite a TEAM spirit! It unites everyone and makes them feel part of a great team of professionals. There are times when Imprinting can be useful too, such as on the back of Tees or on lightweight apparel where embroidery would be too heavy.
Minimum Specifications
Minimum specifications are required to achieve good results. Please follow the instructions provided. If you need help creating art, please call or email us your questions or concerns. We do our own digitizing so that we have total control over the finished products. To embroider your design we need to digitize it, this basically involves redrawing the design in special software that allows us to plot the position, size and direction of every single stitch. Needless to say it is quite intensive.
- Digital Artwork Accepted Formats
jpg, tiff, pdf, AI, EPS, bmp, or any file generated by Adobe photoshop or Adobe illustrator. We can use Word files but it is not ideal as they often vary from one computer to another.
- Embroidery Limitations
1) The minimum height of any text should be no less that 5mm – Any smaller than this and the holes and shapes that make up the letters can start to close up making the text messy or even unreadable. If your logo has text that is smaller than this don’t panic, let us have a look and we can generally find a way around it.
2) Maximum size for machine embroidery is 28cm high and 28cm wide. If you do need a design larger than this we can often split it into several pieces to achieve a larger size.
